MKFE is integrating more than 3000+ members who represent a significant part of the Hungarian Road transport industry. The membership is constituted by road haulier companies, and passenger transport service providers.
The membership in terms of international freight destinations covers the whole Western and Eastern European region and extending its services to Asia, North Africa, and Russia.

- Dr. Zoltan Vereczkey - Chairman

Dr. Vereczkey was born in 1954, Budapest.
He has a degree in law and is a chartered accountant. He worked for 10 years at Volan Tefu and held a leading position at Duna Volan of Pest County from 1986 until he became the managing director of Volan in 1999.
Mr. vereczkey holds many other offices:
- Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pest County
- Vice-president of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
- Member of the Hungarian Olympic Committee
- Member of the Hungarian Water Polo Association
István Galambos - Co-President, Chairman of the Council of Hauliers

Mr. Galambos was born in 1956 and has a foreign trade engineer-economist degree. He runs his own transport company, SILOG Bt.
He actively supports the implementation of new solutions and works to find solutions for SMEs problemsTibor Nedeczky - Co-President, President of the Passenger Transport Committee

Mr. Nedeczky has a traffic officer diploma and spent many years at Volan where he gained a lot of experience.
Since 1989 he has run his own company, Weekendbus Zrt. Its main service is passenger ransport, but the company also provides truck repair service and operates vehicles with refrigeration. Thus, as he acknowledges, he experiences the problems hauliers have to face every day.
Gábor Karmos - Secretary General

Mr. Karmos was born in 1962 in Pécs. He received his diploma from the Technical University of Budapest where he also taught.
According to his own words he is a professional representative of interests. He was appointed Secretary General of MKFE in April 2010 previously having held the position of Deputy Secretary General.
He is a person of wide-ranging interests, actively taking part in transport codification. His main object is to improve the competitiveness of local hauliers. - Staff
